Jammu, Dec. 21 -- Amid the inordinate delay in the announcement of new district presidents of the Jammu and Kashmir Congress, several senior leaders and aspirants have been camping in New Delhi, seeking to leverage the influence of their political mentors at the national capital to secure key organisational positions.

Those aspiring to become district presidents, along with influential senior leaders, are learnt to be stationed in Delhi to push their candidature, even as the party leadership continues to withhold the final list of appointments.
