Jammu, June 26 -- In a first-of-its-kind security deployment, the 2025 Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra will be guarded by nearly 50,000 personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), marking the highest-ever presence of security forces for the annual pilgrimage. The massive security umbrella will be in place across the two traditional routes-Pahalgam and Baltal-to ensure a foolproof and incident-free Yatra.

The CRPF will operate in close coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, carrying out a multi-layered security plan that includes road opening patrols, IED detection and disposal units, and 24x7 surveillance.
