JAMMU, Feb. 21 -- The Department of Forensic Medicine at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jammu has successfully conducted a four-day "Certificate Course in Forensic Medicine & Sciences" exclusively for officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. This training programme is the first of its kind in the country, and AIIMS Jammu becomes the first among all AIIMS institutions Nation wide to initiate such a specialized course for police officers. The course was conceptualized and designed by the Course Director, Professor and Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Prof (Dr) Dinesh Rao.
