A Deputy Superintendent of Police, who is posted in Jammu Kathua Samba range is providing the safe passage to gamblers in his jurisdiction on these days ahead of Diwali, and continue to give shelter to the gamblers.
Police sources informed that DYSP had already served in said district as SHO in different prime locations. Now the said officer is making efforts to provide safe places to the gamblers and taking its benefit the gamblers are playing gambling inside a resort. Not only this, said officer managed to transfer one of his close Karyakhaas-- who was closed with DySP during SHO tenure.
