JAMMU, Feb. 14 -- Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Armed J&K, visited Nud in Samba district, where he interacted with the Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) of J&K Police and personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) undergoing specialized training. He also conducted a Darbar with officers and officials of the IRP-12th Battalion.
During his visit, the ADGP held discussions with the core members of the JKP MRT, stressing meticulous planning to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. He inspected the Mountain Rescue equipment and observed live demonstrations by MRT personnel, including rappelling at rock areas, ascending techniques, stretcher-making, slithering, and the Burma Bridge exercise.
