JAMMU, Aug. 5 -- Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ansuya Jamwal, today chaired a preparatory meeting to review the arrangements for the forthcoming Janmashtami celebrations in the district.
During the meeting, the ADC directed for foolproof security arrangements and the deployment of magistrates at key locations to maintain law and order throughout the festivities. Stressing the importance of public convenience and safe celebrations, she instructed the concerned departments to intensify night patrolling and conduct special sanitation drives, particularly in and around prominent temples, community halls and congregation venues.
