JAMMU, Feb. 14 -- In preparation for the upcoming Mahashivratri Festival, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Ansuya Jamwal convened a comprehensive meeting to assess and enhance the district's readiness for the celebrations.
The festival's highlights include a procession of 'Jhankis' (tableaux) scheduled for February 25, commencing from the historic Ranbireshwar Temple. Additionally, the Peer Kho Temple will host the Mahashivratri Mela from February 25 to 28, offering devotees a series of spiritual and cultural events.
