JAMMU, Sept. 19 -- Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ansuya Jamwal today chaired a meeting of officers to review and finalise the arrangements for the upcoming Dussehra and Navratra festivals.
The ADC called for coordinated action from all departments including Health, Jal Shakti, JMC, Fire & Emergency, Jammu Municipal Corporation and others.
She directed the concerned departments to ensure that roads and tracks leading to prominent places of worship and congregation are illuminated adequately.
Special focus was sought on Kol Kandoli and Bawe Mata Mandir, where enhanced lighting along the access roads was ordered. Similarly, the grounds earmarked for Dussehra celebrations are to be suitably lit so that devotees and the general public...
