Jammu, June 18 -- The Ministry of External Affairs successfully evacuated 110 Indian students, including 90 from the Kashmir Valley, from conflict zones in Iran due to the intensifying Israel-Iran war. The students, studying at Urmia Medical University, crossed into Armenia on Tuesday and are now accommodated in hotels in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. They are expected to arrive in New Delhi soon. Nasir Khuehami, national convenor of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association, confirmed that the Government of India has arranged free flight tickets for all evacuated students, including connecting flights from Delhi to Srinagar for Kashmiri students.
