7 Namazis including members of local Masjid committee booked for COVID violation

KISHTWAR, May 14 -- In a significant development, Kishtwar police today booked 7 Namazis including the members of a local Masjid committee after they were found violating the COVID norms by forcefully entering the mosque to offer Friday prayers and ignoring the Imam's requests for not assembling inside the premises.

As per the details available with Early Times, Kishtwar Police booked seven persons including Mushtaq Ahmad s/o Mohd Iqbal, Mohd Irshad s/o Gh Mohd, Gh Hussain s/o Nissar Hussain, Irshad Ahmad s/o Rajabullah, Altaf Hussain s/o Haqim, Gh Hussain and Abdul Wahid, all residents of Wasserkund Kishtwar falling in Ward No 13 for violating the lockdown restrictions.
