AKHNOOR, Dec. 6 -- The Crossed Swords Division and Manawar Yodhas Brigade observed the 54th Chhamb Day with deep reverence and pride today, honouring the bravery of the Indian soldiers who fought valiantly in the Battle of Chhamb in 1971. The commemoration was a poignant reminder of the courage, sacrifice and indomitable spirit displayed by The Fighting Fifth in the face of adversity.

The ceremony, held at the Chhamb War Memorial, began with a solemn tribute to the bravehearts who laid down their lives protecting the nation.
