Kathua, April 10 -- The Transport Department has now tightened its belt against those who violate the rules and the department is now taking strict action against anyone found violating the rules, once again a campaign was launched on Thursday by the Motor Vehicle Department Lakhanpur and 292 vehicles violating the rules were challaned and a fine of 17 lakh three thousand rupees was imposed.
The enforcement team of RTO office Kathua and the flying squad team of MVD Jammu conducted checking on Jammu Pathankot National Highway in different areas of Kathua during the intervening night.
