POONCH, July 6 -- With utmost religious devotion and reverence, Ashoora processions were held today across Poonch district to mark the 10th day of Muharram, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain and his companions in the Battle of Karbala.
MLA Haveli Aijaz Jan, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, Senior Superintended of Police Shafket Hussain Batt, Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik, Tehsildar Haveli, DySP, besides other officers from civil administration and police, besides civil society members, religions heads took part in the procession.
