Jammu, March 18 -- Within days after the Maharashtra Government announced to construction of the Maharashtra Bhawan in Srinagar, former Chief Minister and Vice-President Omar Abdullah threatened to close this Bhawan after the formation of a democratic government in October this year. "You are constructing Bhawans in Kashmir to provide accommodation to tourists in Srinagar. I can not say what will be the fate of these Bhawans", Omar threatened while mentioning towards proposal of constructing Maharashtra Bhawan in Srinagar.

"They will see what will happen to this building if NC comes to power in the assembly elections after October", Omar threatened.
