JAMMU, Aug. 31 -- The Jammu & Kashmir Dairy Farmers Association (JKDFA) expresses deep concern over the devastating impact of the recent heavy rains and flooding in Jammu, which has caused widespread destruction and loss of livestock.

The unprecedented floods have led to the tragic death of large numbers of cattle, leaving dairy farmers in distress. JKDFA appeals to both the Union Government and the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to declare this calamity as a National Disaster, ensuring immediate relief, compensation, and long-term rehabilitation measures for affected farmers.
