Tree felling for wind farms

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on January 29 directed Gujarat's principal chief conservator of forest to conduct an inspection of the area in Sangnara village in Kutch district where trees were being felled by M/s. Green Infra Wind Energy Ltd and seven other wind energy companies in order to construct wind farms.
