India, March 19 -- No new case in China yesterday

India now has 166 people who have tested positive of the novel coronavirus (SARS-COV-2), the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said March 19 morning. Of them, 151 are active cases while 15 have recovered. The death toll remained at three. There were 25 foreigners among those affected.

Maharashtra continued to lead the charts with 45 cases, followed by Kerala (27 cases). Haryana and uttar Pradesh had 17 cases each.

Good sign for China

For the first time in more than two months, not a single new case was reported in China, which recorded its first case on December 31, 2019.
