Four more positive cases of novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) were reported from India - one each from New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Kerala - on March 9, 2020. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 43 in India.

In Kerala, a three-year-old boy was confirmed positive for COVID-19 case. The child and his parents arrived at Nedumbassery (Kochi) airport on March 7 from Italy, said state health minister KK Shailaja.
