India, March 11 -- Zydus Lifesciences announced on Tuesday that it has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in France-based Amplitude Surgical for €256.8 million.
The Ahmedabad-based pharmaceutical company is in talks with PAI Partners, Amplitude Surgical's management, and two minority shareholders to acquire 85.6% of the company's share capital, according to a regulatory filing.
The proposed transaction includes 85.6% of Amplitude Surgical's outstanding shares and voting rights for a total consideration of €256.8 million.
