India, Dec. 16 -- Zinc prices on Tuesday declined by Rs 1.55 to Rs 306.35 per kg in futures trade as speculators cut back their positions, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for January delivery fell Rs 1.55, or 0.5%, to trade at Rs 306.35 per kg, with a turnover of 1,437 lots.
Analysts said prices were pressured as participants trimmed holdings amid subdued demand from consuming industries in the physical market.
