India, Nov. 13 -- Zinc prices rose by Rs 1.70 to Rs 302.90 per kilogram in futures trade on Thursday, supported by increased demand from consuming industries.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for December delivery were up Rs 1.70, or 0.56%, at Rs 302.90 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 663 lots.
Analysts said the rise in zinc futures was driven by traders widening their positions amid a pickup in spot demand from key industrial users.
