India, Nov. 24 -- Zinc futures edged higher on Monday, rising 75 paise to Rs 299 per kilogram as demand strengthened in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), December zinc contracts climbed 75 paise, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 299 per kg, with a turnover of 2,216 lots.
According to traders, increased buying interest from consuming industries and the buildup of positions by participants supported the uptrend in zinc prices.
