India, Aug. 6 -- Zinc prices edged up by 15 paise to Rs 265.20 per kilogram in futures trading on Wednesday, supported by increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August delivery contracts rose 0.06% to Rs 265.20 per kg, with a trading volume of 3,118 lots.
According to market analysts, the rise in prices was driven by participants widening their positions in response to stronger demand from consuming industries.
