India, Sept. 22 -- Zinc futures rose on Monday, climbing Rs 1.55 to Rs 281.25 per kilogram, supported by increased demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), October delivery contracts advanced 0.55% to Rs 281.25 per kg, with a turnover of 2,118 lots. Traders said the rise was driven by widening positions amid stronger demand from consuming industries.
