India, May 2 -- Zinc prices edged up by 90 paise to ?245.15 per kilogram in Friday's futures trade, supported by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for May delivery rose by 0.37% to ?245.15 per kg, with a trading volume of 3,423 lots.
Analysts attributed the price rise to increased buying activity by participants, driven by stronger demand from key consuming industries.
