India, Dec. 1 -- Zinc prices edged higher on Monday, rising Rs 2.25 to Rs 305.40 per kg in futures trade amid stronger spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), December zinc contracts increased by 0.74% to Rs 305.40 per kg, with a trading volume of 2,882 lots.
According to market analysts, the uptick was driven by participants building fresh positions, supported by a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, which kept zinc futures in positive territory.
