India, Oct. 13 -- Zinc prices rose Rs 4.20 to Rs 294.70 per kg on Monday, supported by a rebound in spot demand from consuming industries.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), November zinc contracts advanced Rs 4.20 (1.45%) to Rs 294.70 per kg, with a turnover of 1,349 lots.
Analysts said the expansion of positions by traders, amid improving demand from industrial buyers, helped lift zinc prices in futures trade.
