India, June 16 -- Zinc futures rose slightly to Rs 250.55 per kilogram on Monday amid strengthening demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, July delivery contracts gained 35 paise, or 0.14%, to Rs 250.55 per kg, with a trading volume of 1,787 lots.

Analysts attributed the uptick to increased buying by participants, driven by rising demand from consuming industries.
