India, March 20 -- Zinc prices increased by 35 paise to Rs 276.50 per kilogram in the futures market on Thursday, supported by a rise in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, April delivery zinc contracts gained 0.13% to Rs 276.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 959 lots.
Analysts attributed the price increase to expanded positions by participants driven by higher demand from consuming industries.
