India, April 22 -- Zinc prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 2.20 to Rs 345.65 per kg in futures trade, supported by firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April 30 delivery gained 0.64% or Rs 2.20 to Rs 345.65 per kg, with a turnover of 2,094 lots.
Market participants said the uptick was driven by fresh buying interest and increased positions taken by traders.
