India, Nov. 6 -- Zinc prices gained Rs 1.20 to Rs 298.15 per kg in futures trade on Thursday, supported by increased demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for December delivery were trading 0.40% higher at Rs 298.15 per kg, with a turnover of 581 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise to fresh positions built by traders amid a pick-up in demand from consuming industries.
