India, Oct. 20 -- Zinc prices rose 20 paise to Rs 287.40 per kilogram in futures trade on Monday, supported by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc for November delivery traded up by 20 paise, or 0.07%, at Rs 287.40 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,292 lots.
Analysts said increased buying by participants and a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices firm in futures trade.
