India, July 30 -- Zinc prices declined by 0.11 per cent to Rs 268 per kilogram on Wednesday in the futures market, as traders cut down their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for August delivery were trading 30 paise lower at Rs 268 per kilogram, with a turnover of 3,863 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to reduced buying interest from consuming industries in the physical market, prompting participants to trim their exposure.
