India, Dec. 15 -- Wholesale price inflation (WPI) rose to (-)0.32 per cent in November, compared with (-)1.21 per cent in October, government data released on Monday showed. The uptick was largely on account of month-on-month increases in prices of food articles such as pulses and vegetables.

On a year-on-year basis, WPI inflation stood at 2.16 per cent in November last year.

According to the industry ministry, the negative inflation rate in November 2025 was mainly due to a decline in prices of food articles, mineral oils, crude petroleum and natural gas, basic metals, and electricity, among others.
