India, Aug. 21 -- VA Tech Wabag on Thursday announced that it has secured an order worth Rs 46.5 crore from RenewSys India to provide comprehensive water management solutions for its 2 GW solar cell manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The contract covers the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning of an Ultrapure Water (UPW) system, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system, to be completed within 11 months, the company said.
Wabag noted that the order is strategically important, strengthening its presence in the solar manufacturing sector and showcasing its capabilities across UPW, ETP, and ZLD solutions.
