India, Nov. 18 -- The Geological Survey of India (GSI), under the Ministry of Mines, will host an International Seminar titled "Unearthing the Past, Shaping the Future: 175 Years of GSI" on 20–21 November 2025 at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC), Jaipur, as part of its year-long celebrations marking 175 years of establishment.
The inaugural session will be addressed by Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Coal & Mines, in the presence of Shri Piyush Goyal, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, and Shri T. Ravikanth, Principal Secretary, Mines & Petroleum, Government of Rajasthan.
