India, Nov. 18 -- Tata Steel on Tuesday announced the completion of 10 years of operations at its Kalinganagar plant in Odisha, a facility developed with a total investment of around Rs 50,000 crore.

Commissioned in 2015 with an initial capacity of 3 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), the plant has since undergone a major expansion. The Tata Steel Kalinganagar (TSK) unit increased its capacity by an additional 5 MTPA, taking its total production capacity to 8 MTPA, following an investment of about Rs 27,000 crore, the company said.
