India, Sept. 8 -- SPML Infra Limited, a leading water infrastructure development company, has won a Rs 1,438 crore (USD 163 million, inclusive of GST) project in joint venture with JWIL Infra Limited, with SPML holding a 51 per cent share. The contract was awarded by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bharatpur, Rajasthan, under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).

The project is aimed at strengthening water supply infrastructure to provide safe drinking water to more than 1.5 million residents in Dholpur and Saipau blocks.
