India, Nov. 6 -- SpiceJet has strengthened its winter schedule by inducting five more aircraft on damp lease, taking the total number of new additions this season to ten. The latest expansion includes a reactivated Boeing 737 MAX, along with three Boeing 737s and an Airbus A340 added earlier.

All five newly inducted aircraft are now operational, boosting capacity and connectivity across major domestic and international routes amid rising passenger demand.

By the end of November, SpiceJet plans to more than double its operational fleet and triple its available seat kilometres (ASKM), reflecting the airline's focus on network growth and enhanced travel options for customers.
