India, Oct. 10 -- SpiceJet has added three new aircraft to its operational fleet—an Airbus A340 wide-body and two Boeing 737s—marking the beginning of its ambitious winter expansion plan aimed at meeting strong travel demand during the holiday season.

The new aircraft will begin operations between October 10 and 11, initiating a broader fleet ramp-up that includes the addition of 20 aircraft between October and November under a damp lease model. The airline also plans to unground four additional planes by mid-December, further enhancing its capacity.
