India, Dec. 31 -- Solar Industries India Limited has secured an additional order worth Rs 1,746 crore from Coal India Limited for and on behalf of its subsidiaries, for the supply of bulk explosives. The supplies are scheduled to be executed over a period of two years.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and involves the supply of explosives to various subsidiaries of Coal India. The company clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
