India, March 20 -- Silver prices rebounded sharply in futures trade on Friday, rising by Rs 8,540 to Rs 2.40 lakh per kilogram, as value buying emerged after a steep recent decline.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver for May delivery surged nearly 4% to Rs 2,40,000 per kg, snapping a seven-session losing streak.
The recovery comes after a sharp fall in the previous session, when prices had plunged by Rs 16,734, or nearly 7%, to settle at Rs 2,31,460 per kg.
