India, Dec. 1 -- Silver futures surged to an all-time high of Rs 1,78,649 per kg, rising rs 3,668 on Monday, as a weaker US dollar and increasing expectations of a US Federal Reserve rate cut boosted precious metal prices.
Gold prices also advanced, with MCX February 2026 gold futures gaining Rs 1,046 (0.81%) to reach Rs 1,30,550 per 10 grams across 12,199 lots.
Silver futures for March 2026 delivery extended their winning streak to a seventh straight session, jumping Rs 3,668 (2.09%) to touch a lifetime high of Rs 1,78,649 per kg, with a trading volume of 15,750 lots.
