India, July 25 -- Silver prices climbed Rs 117 to Rs 1,15,250 per kilogram in futures trade on Friday, driven by renewed buying interest from market participants.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery rose by 0.1% or Rs 117, with a trading volume of 19,844 lots.
Analysts attributed the price increase to the buildup of fresh positions by traders.
