India, Sept. 9 -- Silver prices rose Rs 186 to Rs 1,25,757 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday as traders widened their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), December delivery contracts gained Rs 186, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 1,25,757 per kg with a turnover of 17,949 lots.

Analysts attributed the uptick to fresh positions built up by market participants.
