India, April 23 -- Silver prices declined on Thursday, with futures falling by Rs 4,205 to Rs 2,44,159 per kilogram as traders pared their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, silver contracts for May delivery slipped 1.69% in a turnover of 1,281 lots.
Market participants attributed the fall largely to profit booking and a sell-off in positions, which weighed on overall sentiment.
