India, July 2 -- Silver prices fell by Rs 225 to Rs 1,06,488 per kilogram on Wednesday, as traders reduced their positions at prevailing levels.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery dropped Rs 225, or 0.21%, to Rs 1,06,488 per kg, with a business turnover of 17,111 lots.
According to analysts, the decline was primarily driven by profit booking and a sell-off by participants at current price levels.
