India, July 24 -- Silver prices edged lower on Thursday, falling by Rs 291 to Rs 1,15,343 per kilogram, as traders booked profits and trimmed their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery slipped Rs 291, or 0.25%, to Rs 1,15,343 per kg, with a trading volume of 20,327 lots.
According to analysts, the dip in prices was primarily driven by profit booking at prevailing market levels.
