India, Sept. 29 -- Silver prices surged by Rs 7,000 on Monday to touch an all-time high of Rs 1.5 lakh per kilogram in the national capital, while gold climbed Rs 1,500 to a record Rs 1,19,500 per 10 grams, driven by strong global cues, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
Gold of 99.9% purity jumped to Rs 1,19,500 per 10 grams from Rs 1,18,000 in the previous session. Similarly, gold of 99.5% purity advanced to a record Rs 1,18,900 per 10 grams from Rs 1,17,400 on Saturday in the local bullion market.
