India, Sept. 29 -- The government has appointed Shirish Chandra Murmu as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India for a three-year term.
The appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, sources said on Monday. Murmu is currently serving as an Executive Director at the RBI.
